Description
I wanted to jump on the redraw wagon and in order to see how well I improved. I would say that I have improved quite a bit!
I am very lucky that I was able to finish this and post it by the end of the year. As you know my monitor has been broken for months, but by a stroke of luck on Christmas day my monitor turned on. It was a Christmas miracle!
So I have been keeping my computer on for three going on four days now (I have to keep everything on because if I turn my monitor off it won't turn back on for a while and if I turn my computer off it automatically shuts off) in order to finish this.
The left piece I posted on here 6 years ago when I was 15. As you can see I had no grasp of anatomy or any idea of how to make anything in that drawing worth looking at, but I for some reason have always liked it. I think it's the wings and the idea of it. The hair and backgrounds not bad, I guess. The backwards hands and neck makes me laugh every time, though
I found it pretty easy to redraw, but a BITCH to color! I really hate the background and her wings. I have no clue how to draw wings. They had feathers on them, but it looked horrible so I just kept them plain. I do plan on going back and fixing them soon, I am just sick of looking at them right now >.> The background I plan on blending out more, too. I will fix these soon cause I want to give my computer a rest and I am pretty tired of looking at this drawing (I've been working on this for weeks now. I am such a slow worker!! ) I will also do some proper shading, but I kind of like the flat colors, so I'm not sure. What do you all think??
But I figured posting it almost done is better than nothing. I might as well before my POS breaks down again.
Anyways, this was a lot of fun to do. I enjoyed redrawing her face, hair, body and the mice. I love the opened up one lol
The banner was difficult. Back when I did tattoo apprenticing I had to learn to draw various banners, which mostly consisted of tracing and then drawing it by myself afterwards, which is what I did here. I did a rough sketch of a blank banner, then I went onto PS and traced it and redrew it over again. Then I added the text and color. It was hard, but fun at the same time. I think it looks pretty good for not having drawn a banner in years.
Overall this was a very interesting and challenging experience, but it was really fun and I'd recommend it for those who want a unique challenge.
The title is inspired by a song by Clutch called "Mice And Gods" I used to love that song in high school. [link]

I hope everyone likes it. I am also going to upload the version without a banner so you can see her whole body. I blocked out some camel toe...oops!
Enjoy!

You have improved a lot drawing an anatomy is not easy. It takes years to draw better and better, and draw the anatomy properly XD I like the mice here, so cute actually. And the girl looks like she has a strong heart. I like her serious expression
