This is a portrait I have been working on of the beautiful and amazingly talented :iconglittersniffer: aka Tegan Coddington! :D
She submited a pretty picture of her face with her new tattoo and I knew right away that I wanted to draw it! ([link]) <-- The original picture I absolouty loved her cute chubby cheeks and her tattoo!
As you can kinda tell, I made a few changes and put my own artistic touch in here and there. I tried to keep her face shape the same and make her tattoo look relativly the same. I think I did I good job. What I love most though is her hair. It took me two and a half days to do her hair, which I inked with a .005 Micron pen and did each indivial stroke. I did most of it while watching the Super Bowl with my friend Bambi last weekend. I just finished the picture today.

Please excuse her weird looking skin tone.. my flesh colored marker is running out and I need to get a new one. I kept having to re-trace the lines and I kept messing up on the shades, so it looks all blotchly and blargh. I am not to happy with that :(

I used Sakura Micron pens with Prismacolored markers on computer paper. Text is digital. The whole picture took about a week.

This is intense. I mean, the detail in the hair! So meticulous. And the end result looks fabulous. If you stare at those lines long enough they move, hee hee. Anyways, fabulous job with the portrait. I notice an improvement in your works, especially with lines and facial features and they are looking maaaarvelous. I hope you don't mind me saying. :heart:
