RIP Annie

The other day my dad called me and told me that my dog Annie had a stroke and passed away on the bed next to him. We're both crushed by another big loss in our lives. I feel numb and empty knowing that I will never get to hold her again. I'm also heartbroken that I wasn't there for her final moments. 
But, as upsetting as it is, Annie lived a good life. She was almost 16 years old and going blind as well as deaf. But for her age she was active and loved to play. Her favorite things to do was to lick, especially feet (ewww lol) and bark when you're not paying attention to her. She was such a diva! 
The other plus side is that she is with my mom again. Annie was her baby, so knowing that they are reunited on the other side makes me happy. 
RIP Annie "Big Mama Bananaie." You will never be forgotten and always loved.
